Hi. I’m Tara. I created Lojo™ not as a company, but as a mom who was out of better options.

When my daughter Faith was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, doctors told me to treat her lows with the same processed junk I’d spent her whole life trying to avoid. Juice boxes, glucose tabs, candy - that’s still the standard. It’s what most doctors teach. It’s what the official guidelines recommend.

And while it works, I hated how often we had to rely on it. I didn’t want to give her that stuff every time her blood sugar dropped - but I was told it was the fastest and easiest option, so I did.

It was even worse during sickness, sleep, or those moments when she just wouldn’t eat. I was left scrambling, knowing the only choices weren’t what I wanted for her - or what she wanted for herself.

Nothing better existed. Now it does.
